RESPIRATORY PHYSIOTHERAPY AFTER HEART SURGERIES - REVIEW

Resumo
This study aimed to present an approach, through the literature review, on how physiotherapeutic follow-up of patients is performed after cardiac surgery, seeking to emphasize the relevance to society, since cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of death in the world . We tried to take into account the various aspects that involve this theme, from the description of the heart and cardiac physiology, to the physiotherapeutic interventions after cardiac surgery. The work aims to understand the benefits of respiratory physiotherapy in patients after cardiac surgery and how the theoretical bibliographic research, using books, magazines and scientific articles that address the topic in question in the format of a literature review. In addition to the content covered, the article also involved information from bibliographic sources, highlighting authors such as Regenga (2000), Feltrim, (2007) and Renault (2008).
